As stated in the founding texts of the Association, one of CEIOPS' main tasks is to give advice at the request of the European Commission.

CALL FOR EVIDENCE: In releasing these requests for advice, CEIOPS is inviting all interested parties to submit views as to what CEIOPS should consider in its advice to the European Commission. All contributions should be addressed to secretariat@ceiops.eu by the stated deadline for the specific request.

Note: Decision 2009/78/EC establishing the Committee of European Banking Supervisors and Decision 2009/79/EC establishing the Committee of European Insurance and Occuppational Pensions Supervisors renamed the Interim-Working Committee on Financial Conglomerates into Joint Committee on Financial Conglomerates.All future references to the IWCFC shall be replaced with JCFC.
