CEIOPS provides access to and displays information available for supervisory purposes as part of its efforts towards achieving the objectives of insurance and occupational pensions supervision and ensuring adequate protection of policyholders and other stakeholders.

This includes facilitating access to the following legal information on:

• The national General Good provisions and other information relevant for cross-border insurance and intermediaries activities
• The national implementation of the options included in the Insurance Group Directive
• The national social and labor laws relevant to the field of occupational pensions among Competent Authorities involved in the supervision of cross-border IORP's
• Requirements under the IORP Directive (2003/41/EC) with which a guest IORP operating a pension scheme in a host Member State must comply - explanatory note and overview
• Regulatory and supervisory treatment of third country reinsurance undertakings and existing equivalence practices via a public database. .
