In line with CEIOPS' commitment to work in a transparent manner and in order to obtain the input of all interested parties, CEIOPS holds public hearings on draft documents in addition to its written consultation procedure.

The aim of the public hearing is to give all stakeholders the opportunity for a direct dialogue with CEIOPS' representatives in commenting on the drafts. All useful input is taken into consideration in any revision of the drafts.
